DEAR ART & TECHNOLOGY 2024

The video is still a work in progress. I can go on and on manipulating the footage to make it feel more like a dream and creating mood inducing colors. Performance could possibly include up to 2 projectors, 1 monitor and possibly one live feed for the recording. The space will need to be light controlled by some black curtains or a wall. The performance all together is about 30 minutes long. The performance is created by my collaboration project with Micaela Lydon, "Natrix". Natrix is classical Latin for a water snake. We wanted to create a sound experience that celebrated Florida wildlife, and snakes have a long written history in literature, art and spirituality. Our performances often include other artists, community outreach, wild costumes and immersive storytelling.
